State government of Andhra Pradesh has unveiled a ₹98 crore plan to transform Suryalanka Beach in Bapatla into an international tourism destination under the Swadesh Darshan 2.0 scheme. Minister Kandula Durgesh stated that the project aims to develop the area as a hub for coastal tourism and a preferred location for film shootings. From Paragliding to Speed Boating, the beach will feature all the watersport activities in the coming days!

Adventure tourism activities including jet ski rides over sea waves were launched in a promotional event. AP Tourism department will be securing the prestigious Blue Flag certification for the beach.
