To promote tourism in Andhra Pradesh, the state government has decided to start five new house boat routes during Pongal season (2026). Ticket includes meals and overnight stay. A family of four can book a boat and take a ride to the scenic locations like: Konaseema, Pattiseema, Gandikota, Bhavani Dweepam, Godavari River, Papikondalu, etc…
Luxury House Boats will be operating from two locations: Dindi and Konaseema. The regular AP River Tourism House Boats will be operating in four routes: Gandikota to Mailavaram, Suryalanka to Nizampatnam, Rajahmundry to Dhavaleswaram & Vijayawada to Bhavani Island!
